uh, XP doesnt have DOS 5.1 because that is the version of winXP, you are not running the DOS included with winXP, you are running the shitty command prompt they include alongside the DOS that comes with winXP. go to run and type each and after typing one push enter. edit the games configuration file so that it points to the right spot for it's data files, else the game will look in the wrong place and wont work. i have yet to find a way to have both dungeon keeper and deeper dungeons copied to my hdd and running. they each will replace files the other needs thu...

Descent II speed issue, it's too fast !
has anyone worked out a solution to the speed issue in Descent II (version 1.2) for windows 95? if you set the in-game resolution to 640x480 it goes ballistic, i assume this is because winXP compatibility modes suck and that you do need to use one to get 640x480 res to work in the game. i have a CD ...

I do believe in Canada you cannot get a refund on an opened computer game (or for that matter, other stuff under copyright law like music CDs). Rationale being that people would constantly buy a game, burn it on a CD, then bring back the original copy for a refund. Think how many games/music/movies...
