DoomRL, though, is brutally hard... Man, that thing's like an ADOM that likes to kill you even more, without shopkeepers of death.

There were a lot of parties for this one, though. Most bookstores had parties that went until midnight.

Anyhow, I got mine at Target today. Only $17, and they had TONS of them. Course, they printed 10 mil for the US release alone...

No, I checked the games out in the W95e. There's nothing like that in it.

Do you have the latest patch? It is supposed to be supported by Dosbox, though I don't always get "supported" games running well, either.

Someone on the Dosbox site said (on UU2): You have to use SB PRO with IRQ 5, otherwise everything works perfectly.

Don't worry - we have Liero here on Dosgames. If you want to discuss it, make a thread on the Dosgames general board, but no one is looking for it.

I have absolutely no qualms with airplanes, or nearly any heights anymore. For some reason, though, I'm absolutely freaked out by ladders. Probably since they're rather unstable, and your footing is so close to coming off.

I generally use a more general popping method... 1/4 cup of kernals, cover bottom of pan with oil. I don't see a reason to measure oil and butter, generally. The icing looks tasty, though...

Have you followed the "Get Games to work on XP" guide? If so, then try Dosbox, but it could work without it.

I abhor Java, but I think that's because the book I had sucked... I can't stand its constant use of commands like getString - why the HELL is there a capital in there? There's no point to it, and just makes it stupidly annoying to type and debug.

I think I liked Aladdin the most, out of just about any animated movie they've done.

Lion King was good, though - more a memorable part of my childhood than an actual good movie.

I liked it. A classic? Not by any means? It was, however, a pleasing adaptation of a series that really doesn't work in a visual format, wich was impressive. Most of the humor in the books and radio plays were through descriptions and guide entries. The movies had that obstacle to overcome, and they...

Reminds me of this art museum I went to for bonus in my AP Lit class. It was called The Mattress Factory. All it was were stupid pieces of "art" like those. How retarded. One was a room with a giant egg-shaped thing in the middle. It's not art, it's talentless losers who make money by prey...

To make it simpler for you: DosBox defaultly emulates slower pcs - great for running really old games, but even ones from the early ninties will run slowly. CTRL+f12 will increase your CPUcycles, making your emulation faster. Bump your cycles up to 10k for starters. Also, make sure to hit alt-enter,...
