Perhaps Dark Stone. Windows back in 1999 and PS1 2001. I played the PS1 version myself. I did not like it much at the time, seemed a bit humdrum back then. But looking back at it I wished I would of kept it. Granted a Diablo clone, but a decent one. I can not remember most of it, just that a very di...

Village of the Elw by far my most favorite of the songs with the theme song a close second, although I have not finished the game completely and there may be more hidden gems some where. However that is not to say the rest of the sound track is not good either. These are just two of my personal favo...

I think one of the most amazing feats as far as videogame music goes is the Journey to Silus soundtrack. Sunsoft really knew their way around the NES sound chip and had creative ways to get around its limitations. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNCrpIL2XlY">Check out this master...

I am not sure about the Mac and the game I am thinking of is a bit older, but everything else you describe sounds about spot on, although a Sonic character kind of threw me off. Legend of Kage has a guy with "spiky" hair wearing red, in the tree tops, throwing ninja stars or knives and was...

I was going to saying something about the GameBoy Player, I think they made the wrapping of the screen look arcade like if I am not mistaken, but obviously that is not DOS, so I have no idea.

Hmmm... I will have to check that site out later. And that particular game with all it's bells and whistles is only $500 or that is the price of a broken machine or a different game entirely? I could be happy just with the Saturn version and a force feed back wheel and peddles. But to own the cabine...

I am actually quite pleased with this thread and FFVII has such a great assortment of nostalgic tunes. Anywhere from the over world map, sneaking into the Shinra building, the Chocabo races, Red XIII town music, Valentine's mansion music, the piano score when the pearls fall into the water..., the a...

I poked around a little, but all I'm coming up with are mame and sega roms for emulation. You played it on a PC? Or a console? Any chance you were in Japan or had a Japanese import? :D No, it was in an arcade in the US. I remember I did not play much of it, since I was only a kid and thus my drivin...

SEGA Racing Game Blue Cabinet Sonic Dangling From The Mirror

Yes that is it! Thank you. Now if only I could find the home version... I loved that game, but not so much SEGA Rally.

I normally do not click on random links, are those versions free? Also any one play the N64 version? New story, actually quite liked it except the graphics were a bit dark and muddy and the first part of it was trying to get out of an ugly looking dungeon. Of course how pretty can you make a dungeon...

The NES versions were a pain. Very slow scrolling, even if a button made it slightly faster. (Although I forget if that was even available.) The Advance trilogy however, I believe you could press Select or something similar and you could jump to the next folder and sub folders, etc. All in all thoug...

SEGA Racing Cabinet Sonic Dangling From Mirror [Rad Mobile]

I am not sure of the year it came out, but I played it in the late 80's, early 90's. I do not remember much of it, except that the cabinet was a bluish hue and it may or may not of vibrated or moved slightly. I remember it would rain at times and your virtual windshield wipers would wipe the rain aw...

I would of said S.T.U.N. Runner as well. In fact it is really the only game I can think of as you described it. The arcade had a red justski looking set up, complete with handle bars if that makes a difference at all. Road Blaster also comes to mind, but that had nothing to do with "space"...

That is what I am here for. :D Also Cool Spot and The Noid are also red characters who were put into video games. Cool Spot, at least the SNES version was more of a platformer/action type game, kind of like Vector Man with shooting magic from his hands. And I remember playing The Noid that was a bit...

No clue. I do not even know what "assembly" means. If nothing else I would have to say Minesweeper . (I know now that is not it, since I was curious on the date it was made and researched, but that was my original answer so I shall stick with it. That and I would not know another game anyw...

I was going to say Q-bert but that was not collecting crystals as I recall, unless maybe a power up here or there, but simply changing the color of the tiles on the pyrimid... maybe this is a clone of that or vice versa... Q-bert was a red "creature" with a long nose as I recall and had &q...
