Well if he was pumping stearoids then this explains it like Julie said. I remember quite a few years ago an NFL player named Lyle Alzado suddenly died due to stearoid use, it's sad that some have to resort to using drugs to get ahead or get an edge on the competition :(

For me it was back in my C64 days with the infamouse Taihaiho 300 baud pulse dial-up modem. It worked great and was painfully slow but really most of my connections were made long distance to BBS's across the country ;)

Oh the days of ColorBBS and the like with support for ANSI color graphics :D

The TX Pro and VX Pro are VIA chipsets, renamed/rebadged by motherboard vendors like Matsonic/PC Chips/ECS etc.... They work well with the CPU you mentioned as well as the other socket 5/7 CPU's from AMD/Cyrix et.al. The issue with the Intel TX chipset however is that it can only cache the first 64M...

You maybe able to use a PCI-USB card, however, you will need to double check that the drivers actually support Win 95a.

My guess is that they will indeed require Win 95 Release 2.1 or later however ;)

First off, try using the bottom option, the Sound Blaster selection.

The following are the default settings:

Port = 220
IRQ = 7
DMA = 1

You maybe able to use the Sound Blaster Pro option as well :)

According to someone at Vintage Sierra forum , someone at the KQ9 forum had e-mailed Vivendi about this, and he got this reply: "Thank you for writing. Vivendi Universal Games will be releasing compilations of Kings Quest, Space Quest and Police Quest in October of 2005. They are legitimate an...
