I'll assume you're a bit confused about the details and that the game is "The Lost Vikings" (or it's sequel) by Blizzard.

As I said in our forums: This sounds like a collection of CPS1 roms + the DOS version of the emulator Callus.

Every icon is like 2x2 pixels ... Seriously, you need to scan the picture with more DPI.

It started off with a 2D cutscene (Graphic Novel style sort of thing) of a guy sat in a cafe, having lost his job as some sort of commander, seeing a military base or HQ of some kind get destroyed through the window. Game seems to run fine with DOSBox+W3.11+Win32S (I only played for a few minutes though).
share.exe is not needed.

What was the problem with your W3.1, dosraider?

Just saw a video of DN2 on YouTube - I was dead wrong, the sounds are completely different, my apologies.

The movie "The Rocketeer" had a DOS game if I'm not mistaken. Never played it though, so I don't know if it fits the description.

You mean how do you run them in Windows 7 ?
Well, Death Drome is a bit iffy...
I have a 64 bit W7 and the only way I could get it to somewhat work is Windows XP installed in Virtual PC (95 & 98 didn't work).
Other options include Qemu, VirtualBox, and dual booting.
