"Gaming DemiGod"... there are less and less 'gaming' conversations. You might want to change that.

The games on the CD are shareware. The money is for the CD itself, not the contents. It's just like paying someone with high speed internet to download them for you.

lol. There are some CK games at dosgamesarchive.com. I think they have Commander Keen 5.

I never had that. And I downloaded quite a few games from there. I remember once clicking on and downloading random games... they all worked fine for me.

I found out what the problem was. I think the games aren't compatible with my sound card. I disabled sound from the games' setup and they worked (except quake). It's an outdated custommade computer I got for 50bucks. The sound card brand isn't popular.

krazer0, you have absolutely no need for that. Why would anybody care about their post # anyway? To get a title? I'm pretty sure the 1000 and 5000 posters will be something like "Super Nerd" and "Get a Life"

Well, if you buy a monster video card, you're not planning to use DOS. Really. Silly of you to buy a 128MB and use it for dos games... what a shame. I am genuinely disgusted. Why don't you at least give me the card, and I can give you and old 8Mb.

Yes that is fun... But in Q3A you get to do that sometimes without cheats (lots of jumpers). Funny to see people running around like that (real people. It's online.)

That's kind of my own opinion too now that I realized how lazy I am... I can't watch TV without a clicker.

I tried the following and none work: Heretic, DOOMII, Quake. When I start them through a DOS shell, they get a little farther on (DOOMII inits refresh daemon but stops a little later on). Anyone know how to fix this? I don't think there's a way to boot into DOS with Windows 2000. And I don't feel li...

I have thought about it since the dosgames RPG post.... I thought we could use AGAST to make an adventure game in which a newbie to DosGames.com is the main character... And then he would have to do all kinds of things to make himself a good member (Kind of a rip off Monkey Island 1).

Vday is so friggin corporate.... 6 roses cost 50bucks this time of year.... but now in DC it's snowing like there's no tomorrow and I'm pretty sure I won't have to go to school for the whole week
