I suppose the game was found elsewhere and this thread thus served its purpose. We can't force the OP to disclose the game title if it is against their wishes, so thread closed, indeed.

Gah, I certainly do remember an image of a spiky haired guy with a huge sword, anime style. I think he also wears a big red scarf around his neck while the clothes are dark blue or something like that. But the name of the game eludes me, I never played it but read about it or saw a commercial in a m...

Hello, and welcome to the forums! ^_^ There's a lot of German games from the DOS era, some being fairly unknown to the larger community outside Germany. Would be nice to dig deeper into this matter, hoping to get some insights from you here. Also do you know MobyGames ? The oldest community-driven v...

You could start by browsing the list of ninja themed titles at MobyGames . MobyGames also allows to browse games by platform and genre, you can get a list of Sega Saturn top-down action games for example. Thankfully it's not large because you'll have to get separate lists for each of the suspected S...

Re: game with military hospital theme (before 2012)

i think there was the ability to collect and take guns and first aids from others and the closets Could your character move around freely, or did you just move from a shooting spot to another like in shooting range games? Do you remember what the enemies looked like? Also how did you know that it w...

You forgot to specify the genre and many other important things needed to identify the game. Please refer to the posting rules . However it seems that you're looking for a stealth-based first person shooter (FPS). There's a lot of these and if you don't remember more details it'll be down to checkin...

Try Homeworld and Galactic Dream.

[Edit] Sorry, missed the part where you say it's 2D, try Star Command Revolution then.

Indeed sounds like a puzzle game, but nothing concrete comes to mind. Possibly a Soko-ban variant. There's a rather lengthy list of those at MobyGames, you might want to take a look.

I'm guessing Rayman may have music as CD Audio (considering that no demo versions have music), which needs some extra steps to make it work in DOSBox.

Why yes, there are ways to run DOS games without DOSBox. Here's two: 1. Set up a virtual machine (e.g. VirtualBox ), install DOS or FreeDOS in it, and install and run the game you want in this virtual DOS machine. 2. Use DOSEmu . I'm not sure if it's available for Windows though, so you might want t...

Hello, and welcome to the forums! I just checked out an archived copy of Ronny Wester's page of the game, which says: In order to get music in Cyberdogs you will need to get hold of some module files, convert them to a compatible format and then enter the filenames into DOGS.INI.
