Uh... "1337 ha><0ring" usually refers to script kiddies...

What sort of processor do you have? You can edit the config to add more dedicated power to DOSbox, mine ran fine on 1800, so if you have more than 1.1 GHz, you could probably push cycles to 2000 in dosbox.conf.

Sometimes Windows XP can render _very_ basic SoundBlaster effects, just set the Sound type to either SoundBlaster/PC Speaker (it renders PC Speaker perfectly), and _don't_ run VDMSound with it.

What sort of CPU do you have? Maybe you can push up the 'CPU Cycles' value, as long as it's supported by your CPU. The setting configuration is in the DOSBox config file.
