Of course, no one ever heard my songs, too self-conscious for that. :upset: Recently I played around with Schismtracker for Windows, because it basically attempts to copy IT. But then I realized that IT runs quite well in the newest version of DOSBox (it didn'...

My other games on ZZT.org are not great ... I could list some of my favorite ZZT games from back in the day, but I haven't been playing any in the last few years so I dunno about more recent games!

Actually I noticed that there's an ocean theme available for the game, but only in the registered version. So my guess is that you were playing the registered version of Animal Quest. The AliveSoft website still exists, but unfortunately it seems like they don't sell the registered version anymore. ...

I don't see a fish game made by AliveSoft though ... :shifty:

DOS games on mobile devices (Apple/Android)

Hey all, I was thinking that it might be helpful to create an area on DOSGames.com and/or a separate website to catalog the various DOS game remakes and games heavily inspired by classic DOS games that are available on mobile devices. If you know of any that would be good to include, please post her...

We're really arguing about a dot? If you look closely, there IS a dot after the "S" symbol before COM. So I'm not sure what the disagreement is about? I used the font listed on the 3D Realms Keen History article (the first font listed in the Keen Wiki article about SGA)

Whew, that took awhile. The tradition continues ... you may have to reload or Shift-reload to see the logo & background.

Hey thanks for the info, it's quite possible that I found this game on some other website but that it's not actually free. I'll take another look and remove it from the site if necessary. (In my defense though, according to the Wikipedia article "The game is also known as Legal Tender." And no I did...

The path to your desktop will depend on the username you chose to log in to Windows and also probably what version of Windows you have. So instead try this, create a folder called "GAMES" ...
