BMPs didn't even exist when GWBasic was made, so unless there's a converter or a hack, it's about 99% impossible.

PCI sound cards are not intended to work in DOS, although there's a tiny chance.

What kind of computer do you have (RAM, CPU, etc.)?

Maybe that's as fast as it will go since emulators tend to have relatively high system requirements.

For example, Atari 2600 emulation requires a Pentium 1.
