Well Africa is somewhat of a warzone anyway, so it wouldn't take much for anyone to die there per se.

But anyhow, I'm amazed at how darn successful and prolonged this type of scam is. I wonder how many ever get caught...

Try searching for Skunny. There are lots of Skunny games around.

Skunny is a squirrel but he looks a bit like a cat/lynx/etc.

Yeah that's about 99.9% true But then you would need to make changes to GWBasic itself, and I'm not sure how one would go about that without the original Microsoft source code. Unless GWBasic has an internal function that allows high-resolution graphics (lots of pixels). Then you may be able to rig ...

This is the first time I ever received a Nigeria-type scam through e-mail. And I was quite careless with that college account.

From what I learned in college, Windows 2000 generally sucks when it comes to old ISA cards. But hey, miracles could happen I s'pose... Anyway, in the meantime, try the Windows NT 4.0 driver, there's a decent chance it should work with Windows 2000. [dead link removed] Hope this helps. Let us know h...

BMPs didn't even exist when GWBasic was made, so unless there's a converter or a hack, it's about 99% impossible.

What kind of computer do you have (RAM, CPU, etc.)?

Maybe that's as fast as it will go since emulators tend to have relatively high system requirements.

For example, Atari 2600 emulation requires a Pentium 1.

I'm not quite sure what you're referring to, but give 4DOS a try, it might be similar:

Faults

Hi, this is Interon (aka JMS, Jay, and na010894)

I am here to confess my faults:

1. I was too defensive
2. I overreacted
3. I misinterpreted Kazer0's intentions/motives/etc.

And for the above 3, I'm sorry.
