A time-frame would help, plus what operating system or console version you used.

It sounds like a game with a setting from 'the Lord of the Rings', I guess, not that I have played any lately.

There seems to be some development of an opensource game 'openglad' utilizing some of those maps, see info about the 'extra_campaigns' content added in june:

https://github.com/openglad/openglad

You could perhaps try to contact 'grimfang4' about where this map-pack can be found.

Wild guess (without trying the game): since /Volstagg had the function to allow you to replenish mana, perhaps /Hela could be something to replenish health with a keypress? Also according to Wikipedia, the Marvel comics character 'Hela' was a goddess of death, so it might be a command to kill all en...

Perhaps the 'Arena' game could have been inspired by 'Chaos: The Battle of Wizards' or its sequel 'Lords of Chaos', while neither were released on PC, there were some clones of them what I read. (According to the wikipedia, the same author made a simpler version for PC called Morkin 2, but it seems ...

I saw some packaging information for it, referring to an 'EB exclusive' release, so maybe that was the only place it was sold? There seems to have been a 'Tournament' version as well, PvP I guess.

There were a few Robot Wars licenses, but I'm not sure if that is the type of game OP talks about.

Some compiled BASIC:s does that, at invalid data input.
(Referring to the "Redo from start" string.)

I see the D.C. demo with intro video was found by MrFlibble in 2011:

A smaller D.C. demo without the intro video is on CNET:

I have a LAPC-1, and it is ROM samples only, while I understand the MT-32 could load up some banks with samples, I never had an MT-32:s myself. When you need external MIDI, used a splitter to separate the joystick port out from the midi in/out ports; normally you have two cables for the Midi devices...

Curious, the SB Live OEM/shareware version of Unreal listed at that web site is not the one I have; the version I got with my SB Live card is the full retail version 2.00.

(I had to install it again just for fun, with updates it is still a very good game IMO)
