Hungry cat on the street collecting food scraps

We're not much into browser games from 2010s here but I believe you can look a Wayback Machine snapshots of friv.com from the time:

PC Kingdom game around year 2000

Hi! Your description could actually fit Heroes of Might and Magic III which was very popular back in the day. I believe there were also later, similar games with full 3D graphics, but cannot remember the exact titles at this moment. Ascension to the Throne and Fantasy Wars are a bit too late, as is ...

Looking for Fifth Eskadra

Since you're not trying to identify a game of which the title you forgot, I moved this to General Gaming. I don't think I ever before heard of this kind of part boardgame, part computer game hybrid, although it makes a lot of sense back in the days what home computers were not really graphics-friend...

[PC][3d][FPS] Army game, not sure if before 2000 or after [C&C: Renegade]

You're welcome! This is actually not the first time someone was looking for the game and not finding it immediately. People usually suggest more popular titles, and the scenery in Renegade is probably not easily recognizable if one hasn't played the original Command & Conquer RTS games from whic...

I completely reworked the list in the first post and added a few more sims that have been found.

Mario-like 2D side-view PC puzzle platformer game about a scientist and building

Good luck! It sounds like it's not easy to track down your game indeed. Maybe you could try accessing some old free game download sites via the Wayback Machine, or check out those that are still up. I think Caiman Free Games and AcidPlay (?) are still online, I remember both having a good deal of ob...

Star Control 2, how to make progress in game

I haven't really played the game but I guess this is the place to get hints for it:

Doesn't ring a bell, but here I threw together some likely filters for MobyGames search, maybe your game's on the list: https://www.mobygames.com/browse/games/windows/action/puzzle-elements/side-view/offset,50/so,1a/list-games/ Do you remember if it was a fully commercial title, or some kind of free...

[PC][3d][FPS] Army game, not sure if before 2000 or after

The game was about a captain on sergeant who starts in a canyon with tanks and a lot of soldiers. I remember that we advance and we get to a front where is a building far away with a beam shooting out of it Also if I remember correctly, we were fighting some other soldiers who had red uniforms. If ...

In the meantime, I found what appears like a better preserved mirror of Adrian E. Brown's FST catalogue:

PC war strategy game [~2000s]

Sure not a DOS game? The description of battles kind of reminded me of Conquest of the New World.

Big Baby Monster Game (around 1990's at least)

I'm pretty sure it was a 2D landscape game. That could mean several different things, was the view in your game closer to anything from the following list: Age of Empires - 2D isometric perspective Claw - 2D side view w/ slight isometry C-Dogs - 2D view from above Please note that I'm trying to det...

Win9x game made of mini-games

About the games you suggested, The Big Red Adventure and Pajama Sam: Games to Play on Any Day, none of these are I just provided those two as examples of high-res adventure game art style -- I do realise those are not your game, maybe I should have made it more clear. It's not easy to describe thin...

I'm glad that MobyGames once again helps to identify a game :)

That's one fine-looking game I should say. Some visuals remind me of Albion and Entomorph, but the developers behind this are actually the same people who made Clif Danger. Who knew!

Win9x game made of mini-games

the character design was unusual, not bad drawn but unusual Can you try to define this more precisely? Actually, what was the theme of the game? Did it take place in today's world, or in some fantasy place? Were the characters human? For example, here's another 2D point-and-click adventure game wit...
