Haven't played either myself, but it sounds similar to Populous or Master Of Magic.

Likely Rise of the Dragon which was also released on Sega CD if I remember correctly.

Yeah, I remember playing this one. It took me quite a while to figure out the name of it in recent years. I never finished it either, not nearly as close as you.

Quest For Glory/Hero Quest?

I don't know if I can link directly to it, but a Google for "demon attack tandy 1000 download" found a couple hits. It might not be the same thing, but it's a PC remake of the original game.

Yeah, sounds like one of the Test Drive series....3 comes to mind, but it could be 2.

I Googled "dos game southampton murder" and came up with a game called "The Scoop" that sounds like what you describe.

Raptor: Call of the Shadows? The name and the title screen sound like what you describe.

There are a lot of games of this variation. Qix was popular. A quick search for a Windows 95 Qix clone turned up Xonix, but that's only one of many. Since you were thinking "Zen Ball", I'm thinking maybe it was Jezzball?

Oops, don't remember Savage Warriors having 3D aspects. The 2D art and Mortal Kombat similarities remind me of Way Of The Warrior, but that's a 3DO game. FX Fighter comes to mind, but the camera seems to move in 3D even if the fighters really don't.

Um, I just googled "ends of the earth game" and found it on the 2nd hit, assuming that's the game you're looking for. I clicked on this thinking it was about Inherit The Earth which is a totally different game.
