It's also available as a package on debian (and derivatives, like ubuntu). There's also a package for Flight of the Amazon Queen.

The crowns are nice. I just hate the fact that generals are 6 meters tall.

One of the cool ideas in EE2 is the war planner. That was awesome.

Also important: There needs to be something on the main page (or a link) that explains what the site is about. If I can't find that in 10 seconds, I leave.

I recently looked up awesome in the dictionary, and found Gaâda Diwane de Béchar. Longer video. Ignore the douchebags dancing up front (or you can have a good laugh at them).

I'm so glad we don't have that here. If we did, we'd have the same problem dosraider mentioned (I'm a few dozen kilometers west of GM). Until about 2 months ago, I was sure DST worked the other way around. That would make sense so that you can make up to a bit more sunshine, and go home before it ge...

Empire Earth II was an embarrassment to the original game. No surprises there, as it was developed by a different studio. EE3 was pure garbage. EE2 had tons of good ideas, but an unbelievably poor execution. It's like they were going for a feature list, not actual gameplay. I was really excited abou...

I've had the game since it was first released but I stopped playing a few times for about a year overall. Fun game, and you can easily control how long you play by slapping yourself. Grinding for a couple of more hours isn't going to help you in real life. Once you realize that, MMORPGs aren't that ...

But I have this strange fascination with destroying shit. So I never got very far in it.
Hehe, I used to load the Metropolis map and destroy stuff.

But tell me Amro(I may be dead-wrong on this one)... what if, hipoteticaly, I'd start believing in God, and make a "version" of my own? I mean something like starting my own cult! You sure could, but you'd need a reason to believe in your own religion. How did you come to the conclusion t...

Just want to note that, necessarily, not all religions are true since they teach contradictory things. That doesn't mean I think that religions other than Christianity are totally and utterly wrong about every point; certainly there is overlap between faiths on many things, and I value truth wherev...

I wanna know why do you think pople dismiss others religions as fast as this [snaps fingers]? Probably because they think their religion is right and all others are wrong. However, I've done research on other religions and I'm still learning more (though, to be honest, I'm about as sure as can be I...

Right click your desktop, click properties, then go to the settings tab.

As for adventure point-and-click games, I strongly recommend Monkey Island 1 & 2 (I'm not sure if they're free now). There's also Beneath a Steel Sky which is free now. You'll probably need ScummVM (free) to run these.

Wine is a windows emulator for Linux. The developers prefer to call it a "compatibility" layer. It ran World of Warcraft on Kubuntu 5.10 just fine (though it did require some extra work... however, I just followed a howto, there are plenty of howtos around for other games as well).

Amro : Don't generalise if you don't know enough about things to do so... There's a reason why I'm asking these questions. It's so that I do know enough. If you don't want to share, fine by me, I'll find someone else to learn from. I find that people are more willing to give details when confronted...

Anyway, I'm not trying to get too involved - emmzee can doubtless tell you more about it - but seeing as you know so little of basic Christian doctrine and church history, maybe it's not wise for you to be so insulting and arrogant? What I said has nothing to do with christian doctrine or church hi...

Thank you for your charming words, GAMER. Apparently I am no longer allowed to share my opinions, yet people are allowed to insult me.

I'm out of this.
