Could anyone recommend After Burner-like game for PC?

Well I've been very busy lately; simply no time for demanding games like serious flightsim. But I still love flying games nonetheless, and I'm looking for After Burner -like game for PC. Does such game exist? I remember, somewhere back in 2001, I borrowed a "value pack" CD from a friend (containing ...

Well Planet of Zoom is the only "spaceship on surface" game I know where you have to pass between two poles to score.

Re: Searching for old game: spaceship that hovers on surface

There is a spaceship that hovers on the surface of a possible extraterrestria planet. The spaceship must avoid to crash against some poles or posts or stakes and actually have to pass between two of them to advance! Sounds like the first PC action game I played: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y71...

How do I find Hardball 5 Enhanced?

How do I tell the difference between Hardball 5 Enhanced and "plain jane" Hardball 5? From the ebay search result , it seems Hardball 5 enhanced is the one whose box has thin red edge along its side (like this one ), while "plain" Hardball 5 has simply black box (like this one ). Am I correct? PS: I...

Game tips/hints request: Hardball III

Folks, I've been trying Hardball III recently, and I found timing your bat is very easy in training mode. All I have to do is wait until the ball is about at the same level with the batter's head, and then punch Enter. Such thing usually guarantees contact. Things, however, is much different during ...

You got XP on you EEE? Er, I don't have Eee. My XP-installed netbook is MSI Wind. But Dosser said he uses Eee in the OP, and from what I seen from Eee keyboard layout , it's not quite "gaming-friendly" for certain types of games. For example, Novalogic's Delta Force series use Home and End key to c...

Are you playing on the plane? If that's the case, then you may want to avoid games that require mouse (unless you don't mind playing with Touchpad, although Touchpad is still fine for turn-based games). Games that Page Up, Page Down, Home, and End could pose some problems as well, since Eee PC requi...

What's the thing? From its looks, it seems to be editor for tracker music (like ProTracker or MODEDIT) instead of MIDI.

By the way, I bought the Virtual Sound Canvas solely for its soft synth --to play old games with MIDI music with better sound quality than Microsoft MIDI soft synth.

This is when you drink in moderation; Know when to stop. It's people like this who ruin all my good times. As a former heavy drinker and borderline alcoholic, I believe it's better to not touching alcohol at all. I started as moderate drinker, y'know. ;) Although well, yes, there are indeed people ...

Your favorite food and drinks? And your un-favorites?

Well, here's mine: I just love the taste of soft, raw meat, be it red meat of white meat. Thus, my favorite 'big three' are raw oysters, sushi, and steak tartare. I always want my steak rare, and when eating at yakiniku/shabu-shabu restaurant, I often horrify my friends by sampling the meat raw. Jus...
