Old Asian Fighting Game

I don't remember if this matches your description, but Sango Fighter is a well-known DOS fighting game released by a Taiwanese group:

SWIV 3D - No CD

Thank you for your post, hopefully it helps others! Sorry about the hassle of putting links in the posts, we get a lot of spam here. (I had to remove the link to the aband0nware site since they aren't allowed here ... well, at least I had to obfuscate it more ... :blah:)

In a turret on an island, windows, late 90s early 2000s

Sounds similar to Beachhead 2000 from what I remember about it:

early 2000s Windows adventure game with anthropomorphic characters

Hi, since this is a more recent game (we tend to focus on games pre-2000's) your best bet is likely to ask on this subreddit:

Turn-based life simulation game (DOS, PC)

Doesn't seem like an exact match, but perhaps Jones in the Fast Lane?

DOS Games Archive Site Update August 9 2014

DOSGamesArchive.com does not use a downloader program, at least not anymore, I just checked and the files download directly from their website to your computer. As always, scan anything that you download just to be safe. Although Jorrit and I work to try to ensure that files we post on our websites ...

DOS 2D versus fighting game

I'm not familiar with this game, but here is Mobygames' list of DOS fighting games, it's likely on this list somewhere. You can also narrow it by year, since you know approximately when you played it:

Hope this helps you find it

Sorry, nothing comes to mind ... I did some searches on halloween themed games, pumpkins, etc, but didn't find any matching your description. You may want to try posting on the Reddit "Tip of my Joystick" subreddit, people there are pretty good at finding old games: http://reddit.com/r/tipofmyjoysti...

phpBB3 upgrade!

Yup, it only took, like 10 years. This was done for a bunch of reasons, one primary reason being better spam prevention. Also a more modern platform which will receive updates, speed, etc.

Please let me know if you notice any weirdness. Other than ... uh, the usual weirdness that goes on here. :slap:

Heya, sorry for late reply. 1) I'm a bit hesitant to allow people to upload random files ... there are a bunch of free places to store stuff these days. If you or anyone has a file they want me to take a look at, point me to a link, or you can always email it to me as long as it's not too big (see e...
