Kay I know what the problem is now, but unfortunately because my school net access sucks I can't fix it ... :( See they seriously throttle anything other than web access, so I can't even connect via FTP to my site during the day. I have to wake up around 4am to be able to do that ... usually I have ...

Oh that reminds me, I said you'd be allowed to upload your own avatars didn't I? Well the last thing I want to be remembered as is a lying scumbag! So, let's see if I can find where to turn that on ... EDIT: I think I turned it on. :) So try uploading your own if you want and see if it works. Please...

Check out: http://www.ambrosine.com/resource.html It's a list of game-making programs. Some of 'em are unfinished ... some of 'em just plain suck ... but there's a lot of 'em there so prolly you'll be able to find one that does what you want. The other option is to learn a programming language (like...

I'm probably not going to enable any kind of advanced scripting. The potential for abuse vastly outweighs the potential benefits of turning it on. Also I suspect that using advanced DHTML/JS scripts would probably result in annoying the majority of forum browsers. So unless good reasons (other than ...

The old board is dead! Let it die! :karate: Um, seriously ... the board files are still there ... but they're on the old shared hosting account, which can't be accessed from the web anymore. I need to cancel the old shared hosting account soon anyways, since I can't be paying for both accounts. So ....

A lot of shareware authors have no problem charging a small fee if their game is included on a collection CD-ROM like that. However some others specifically state that they don't want their games t...

Yeah, 500gigs per month. So bandwidth costs shouldn't be a problem. *prays* Hmmm, I guess it's at least good to know that I'm not the only one being picked on by the IDSA. I don't think we'd need any new mods right away and, if we did, like I say, it'd be up to DB to pick some ......

Hi all, Received an email from Jorrit (webmaster of dosgamesarchive.com) with an interesting proposal ... here's part of his email: "Lately I've been running a webpoll on the site with the question "Would you like to see a forum on this site?" Now there are over 3500 votes and more th...

Well it took awhile but it looks like everything has ended up as it should. I'm probably going to get hit by a meteor or something tomorrow to balance out my luck. If there are any lingering problems please let me know and I'll take a look. For now, I will finish setting up dosgames.com ....
