Help, computer doesn't start up properly.

My computer back at home doesn't start up properly. I turn it on and it's stuck at the HP Invent screen and doesn't budge. Is there a way to bypass this to check on something or what? What else should I do?

Yeah of course it has a credit card symbol on it but that's just how they come along here. A debit card is like an atm card but with a credit card type capability in which you can use it for purchases with money withdrawn directly from your checking account. The symbol is much like how it is with cr...

Actually wait I think you might have me confused with being a canadian resident. I just learned that in canada, making online payments isn't possible with debit, only with a credit card.

However, here in the states, you can use debit online.

I guess that's the card I have then if I was able to purchase the download for the full version of hocus pocus among many other purchases that I've done over the net for quite a while. Pardon my lack of lingo then.

Yes, that's nice to know, cheers to you, but I'm not as fortunate therefore I have to rely on finding games online which has been working out nicely lately.

I must thank dopefish for pointing me to the 3drealms site which I overlooked a while ago.

Anyone else play the Adventures of Willy Beamish?

Alright I'm at the part where you're in the mansion and you're trying to save the frogs. I get the cup to toss at the cook and distract her. (I checked a lot of faqs to make sure that I'm doing this right btw) I then sneak up behind her to pour the saucepan of butter behind her and all the faqs impl...

Dos games aren't sold in stores anymore, at least not in any of the major ones nor any stores for that matter within my area. Welcome to the 21st century chief.

Alright, apparently the problem has to do with the music option being turned on under the sound blaster option with vdms...so instead I set it to wave blaster and it works just fine now. Thx for the contributions.

Getting games to run....faster.

So yeah I got the full versions of all the keen games and I just ordered and dled the full version of hocus pocus. The thing is they run kinda slow. I'm running them through vdmsound on windows xp. Is there a way to make the games run a smoother and at the normal pace?

The fear factor and story to the game are amazing. Too bad it's going to take them another year until they make a ps2 release from what I gather.
