Looking for a DOS Gaming Laptop

Most of these Thinkpads provide reasonably good audio solutions for DOS games under Win9x, but few of them also have pure DOS audio capabilities, except perhaps the oldest models. Pure DOS compatibility in Thinkpads could be had last (I think) in the A20/A21/A22/T20/T21/T22 series (not T23), by mean...

What is your favorite DOS game?

Seriousy too many to count. The series that were popular in the nineties that I played the most probably include Doom , Mortal Kombat , Prince of Persia , Rayman (only one main series game, but there were expansions too), Duke Nukem (II and 3D - never played the first one really), Warcraft , Heroes ...

Windows side-view puzzle game about a child running from a pirate

The description sounds a lot like "Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure", but that's a Wii game, not a Windows game. Maybe you played it via an emulator?

The incredible machine 1 music

It's a cracktro by Hard Core (who cracked the game).

Apparently, someone uploaded the cracked version to Github. You can get it here:
https://github.com/ilil/tim

(I think you only need the files INTRO.EXE, MUSIC, PAL and PIC)

DOOM - Collector's Edition

I'd buy DOOM Collector's Edition if I'd see it in the store, despite already having played all the games. I absolutely LOVE collections. 15 years later, I did buy it. It's the absolute worst "Collector's Edition" ever. Yay! https://cloakedthargoid.wordpress.com/pc-games-collectors-edition...

CD-Man 1.5 full-version; does this exist, or is it a myth?

Gagster wrote: I suppose there's no way without access to the original source-files of the game to change the actual sprites in the game?
There always is, but you need someone with experience in hacking to do so. The noob method, as you described it, rarely works.

CD-Man 1.5 full-version; does this exist, or is it a myth?

Obviously not... Below is the relevant excerpt from the Skyroads X-Mas trainer manual (circa 1994). Creative Dimensions is the company that developed CD-Man (hence the name) and was also responsible for distribution of Blue Moon's Skyroads in North America. CREATIVE DIMENSIONS Product Info 1994 CD-M...

CD-Man 1.5 full-version; does this exist, or is it a myth?

That's an interesting question and the answer is 'I don't know'. Also, from reading the manual of CD-MAN 2.0 I learned that supposedly there was another version, branded 'Chewit', which was a promotional release, sold with, well 'Chewits' candy. That version was supposedly identical to 2.0 but had t...

Well, you mentioned a yellow Mitsubishi. Perhaps a good place to start is the following video which shows the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution in 20 different racing games:

DOS 2D versus fighting game

Sounds like a demo version of some Street Fighter variant. Maybe Super Street Fighter II Turbo (but the backdrops don't quite match), maybe some Street Fighter Alpha/Zero variant (did they ever make them for DOS???)
