Dosgames.com city

Post by dosraider » Sat Jul 28, 2007 5:27 pm

So, Dosgames.com city is a reality.
It's situated on Corsica.
Aaaah, c'est beau la Corse ! Une montagne dans la mer!

http://dosgames.com.miniville.fr/

When you click on the link one habitant is added, industry will come later, and so on, you know the simcity principle? Yep, that's it.
Strings attached : none.
Spyware: none.
Downloads: nothing.
One click a day keeps Dosgames.com city growing.
You can only click once a day :/

Click away peeps! May Dosgames.com city prosper.
*Edit
In time, with the growing population more possibilities are unlocked, giving new extra URLs to click on.
link2 -> Industry
link3 -> Roads
link4 -> Security
link5 -> Environment
link6 -> Trading (Shopping centers)

*Edit²
That's what it can become:
http://szentendre.miniville.fr/ (that's the numero uno for now)
Takes a bit of time to generate, take a look.
You can click on the blue knob in the right-down corner of the map to scroll.
And yes, everytime someone looks at szentedre.miniville they have an extra habitant, lolz.

*Edit³

1-> Augmenter la population
http://dosgames.com.miniville.fr
Add one habitant

Extra link is unlocked, industry.
2 -> Augmenter l'industrie
http://dosgames.com.miniville.fr/ind
Makes the industrials invest in the city

Extra link is unlocked, transport.
3 ->Améliorer le réseau de transports http://dosgames.com.miniville.fr/tra
Improves roads and traffic.

Extra link: environment
http://dosgames.com.miniville.fr/env
We want a clear sky in our home town, don't we?

Extra link unlocked: commerce (commercial)
http://dosgames.com.miniville.fr/com
Make some extra money honey.

Another extra link is unlocked.
Nuke the city!
100 clicks on this:
http://dosgames.com.antiville.fr/
and Dosgames. com will be under nuclear attack !
This is only the first stage of nuclear attack, the next one is a big fat nuke bang.
The first small nuke has been launched 08-19-2007, 84 victimes
We need 1000 clicks to launch a big fat one.

Now that'd be one hell of an ad-based revenue site... Too bad there are little to no ads :P

Anyway, I gotta ask this: Why?

Why they do it? Their income? Several thousands of hits/day, probably +100,000/day or even much more, there are plenty of cities.
The adds are small, but they are there, and pay.

It's a bit as the werewolf 'bite me' site from greencosmos, except it's constructive, you build a complete town in time.
LOLZ.

*Edit :
We are 14 habitants now, OMG it grows.

No, I meant why would anybody create such a town? And more importantly why would people click that link?

To make your city grow, silly enough.

And there is also a possibility to nuke towns with enough clicks, same system. :D

*Edit
BTW, it's not sóóó simple, when you're population grows, you need roads, industry, environment care, security forces, trading and so on. Those are all other links. If you don't manage a bit the clicks on the different links your population begins to leave the city.

It's basicly a simcity clone online. Keep the population happy.

Dosgames.com city has now 196 habitants, flourishing industry, good roadworks.

It took approx 21 days to gather 196 clicks to make it grow so swell.
That's how it looks now:
Image
Nice , isn't it?
Enjoy the looks whilst it last.

'Cause it took only 8 days to gather 99 clicks to get it nuked, only one click more and the nuke is launched.
Who gonna give the final click?
