Exploding Atoms is a game of reactions. Each player (or CPU if you play against the computer) takes turns placing their atoms on a grid. When a grid attains four atoms of the same color, it "explodes" sort of like viruses in the board game Pandemic: An explosion adds one atom to each cell around it, or changes the color of atoms in cells previously occupied by the opponent's pieces. It's an interesting puzzle game with simple graphics which seems to have been heavily "inspired" by a game of the same name created by a different Czech company a year earlier on the ZX Spectrum ... anyways it uses the mouse for choosing where to place atoms which works well. I don't know how much strategy there really is though, since deciding where exactly to place atoms and how all of the explosions will work seems quite difficult, especially later in the game where each turn it seems like most of the board changes color due to all of the explosions.
