Deluxe Ski Jump is a great ski jump simulation game. The game's sequels are still continuing to this day, ie Deluxe Ski Jump 4 on the author's website. The original DOS version of the game isn't in 3D like the modern versions but it's still fun and well done, albeit simple since you're doing basically the same thing every time. Using the mouse, begin your jump, time your leap from the end of the take-off board and then carefully adjust in the air before performing your landing. It takes a few tries to get right but it's not too difficult. The shareware version includes four different jump locations.
Instructions:
Control uses the mouse. When the green signal lights, press the left button to begin your jump. When you are near the bottom of the take-off board press both left and right buttons together to jump. In the air, beware the wind, and gently move the mouse up and down if necessary to correct your jumper's angle. Press both buttons together again when you are about to land.
