Adventure Creation Kit is an RPG game creation system, inspired by the classic Adventure Construction Set by Stuart Smith. This system seems quite powerful and relatively easy to use (for 90's DOS software, that is) so it should be quite possible to make your own games using it. The software comes complete with "kits", including themed tiles (fantasy, sci-fi, etc) to make different themed games, or you can always draw your own tiles using the included editor. There is a built-in scripting language and a long list of other features that you can utilize as you create up to 99 unique rooms for your adventure. A 45 page manual (PDF file) is included. See Chris Hopkins' website for more download options and a few user-created games.
