I came across this fun freeware Polish sokoban-ish variant "Spych" - tank pushing crates, keys and doors, puzzle game. I thought I remembered that someone was searching for such a game, but I can't come up with the topic, so thought I'd just post it as a fun find. It's available here on dosgames.com, 2/3 down this puzzle page: http://www.dosgames.com/g_puz3.php

This simple block-pushing puzzle game shares many similarities with games such as Sokoban or Boxxle. The object is to push boxes around, onto their proper markers, as well as collect keys and avoid obstacles on the way to the level exit. Although the game's graphics are not very good, it does seem challenging and long, so fans of the genre should be able to play this one for awhile.

No mobygames page, but other good reviews as a puzzle game in blogs and abandonware sites.

One of my Danish friends wrote a game similar to that. He is older like maybe in his 50's. He has been working for a Danish company professionally for like 14 years. He knows probably all the major popular programming languages and has proven himself knowledgeable in those areas. So much for my mere 2-year community college programming education.

It kind of reminds me of Battle City. This game used to be (and still is - among old gaming fans) quite popular in Russia, and probably in other ex-Soviet Union/Socialist Bloc countries as well

Battle City looks cool. I remember having lots of fun with friends on Atari's tanks vs. games on the 2600. It's always fun to see updates.

If you happened to have a link to your Danish friend's game or screenshots, it'd be fun to check it out!

One of the websites that my friend is on removed his posts so I could not find his original link anymore. However, I have a handful of his games that he left to me. One of them is a pretty good remake of Tetris. It is simple however fun to play and does not crash. haha

In fact, I think he might even be the original producer of Sokoban? I never forgot him. It makes me think I'd better appreciate the people around you.

Jesus Christ!

Well, I found the disc of the handful of demos that my Danish friend left to me. I have lost contact with him however for this Christmas 2014 I want to remember him by giving a link to one of his remake of Tetris. I hope you all enjoy. He is a really nice guy and I miss him.
