Oh, sorry, didn't realize that you still had warrenty. I built mine from scratch and put the pc speaker on a switch, its cheap, but it works.

Yeah, I had a failed overclocking attempt on my board, and removing the battery worked. Should work for you too.

Open your computer, find your PC speaker, should look like a tweeter, most likely attached to your case or CD/Floppy holder, disconnect the cords.

I'm 18, grew up with Dos, cause my parents didn't see the value in a decent computer, so I was always about 2-3 years behind the curve. Stunts, Scorched Earth, Sim Farm, these games raised me! Shit-Eating Grin
