Hi, I am back and I haven't abandoned the idea. I made an account at Wikia. I mentioned the Supaplex clones at http://gaming.wikia.com/wiki/Talk:Boulder_Dash#Boulder_Dash_clones Please help me to locate more wikis and encyclopedias dedicated to games in order to make the list longer at http://gaming...

Yes, it probably needs to be a different Wiki. But probably it's not a bad idea for you to add games for other platforms too on your Wiki. After all, they have many things in common. For example .mod files were used on Amiga (and probably on Atari ST) too. I'm not sure Wikia is a good place, they mi...

Thanks, I will keep a watch on RGB forum, for the moment I have not much to contribute there, I will make an account when I will have something to say. The quantity of information is way to huge, the only way for success is to create a central Wiki for all. Otherwise the people will waste a lot of e...

Hi, MrFlibble, that's encouraging, to see that others are interested in such things. I think we might find more people interested on other gaming community forums too. The problem with MobyGames is that it's not in a wiki format, so it's not easy enough to add information and it probably needs the a...

Some games run too fast in DOSBox

Hi, These two games work too fast in DOSBox. I am using DOSBox 0.74 with D-Fend 1.3.5 in Windows 7 64 bit - Clone Invader - http://www.dosgamesarchive.com/download/clone-invader/ - Stargunner - http://www.dosgamesarchive.com/download/stargunner/ - the shareware version. The full version is for Windo...

That's a very good one.
How about adding links to clones of the games?
Would you consider allowing that?

Is there an encyclopedia of old games? Maybe we can make one

Hello all, I was wondering if there is any encyclopedia or wiki for old games. If there isn't, I think it's worth to consider the idea to start one. Maybe together with the owners and supporters of other retro game websites we can start a wiki. Such a wiki would be useful for including information l...

Index with one page per letter, pretty please

Hello, The index at dosgamesarchive.com is very useful because it has screenshots and descriptions to games. However, it's a bit annoying to browse games in the current index because you don't know in which page is a specific game. Can you please create an index with one page per letter? Something l...

Yes Tinker is somehow similar, even that it's 2.5D "Color" was in 2D, vivid colors, and he was on a platform that wasn't square. The platform was changing with every level, having holes in it. You could push some panels out of the platform into space, losing them, and then you could not co...

Magicland Dizzy keys

I am trying Magicland Dizzy game - I got it from bestoldgames.net I can't find the key for jumping. On GameFAQs it says that it's the Space key but it's not. Instead, space is for picking up items and also shows inventory. http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/927827-magicland-dizzy/faqs/65069 Anyone knows som...

Dos game named "Color"

Hello all, It was year 1994 when I was playing a game named "Color". It was a 2D puzzle game. You had to control a space robot working on various platforms. You could move only up, down, left, right - similar in some way with Bomberman or Sokoban. The platform was made of individual square...
