Post subject: Scandinavian Chain-reaction Game. |

Back in the 386-SX days, a friend found a Scandinavian-made PC game on a BBS that had an atom level chain-reaction as it's main effect. It had a large square grid board (15 x 15?). Each player (or player and AI) alternately placed a colored blot/atom in each square. Up to two atoms co-existed peacefully in each square. When a third was added a critical mass existed. The atoms were each blown into adjacent squares. If that made a 3 then another reaction happened, etc, etc untill no reactions could be made. All atoms you added were your color and all atoms you caused to react changed to your color. At the later stages reactions would flow side to side in waves. I think the winner was the first to change all the atoms to his color. Very good logic game.
Looked for this little jewel occasionally to no avail. |
