Strange on the odd occasion my D drive will disappear but that's usually solved by a simple re-boot. My guess is you’ll have to tell the computer to create a new drive, or something similar, from an options menu.
On the other end of the scale if anyone knows how to remove a drive please let me know, my computer recently created an E drive that has no use or purpose. |

are you sure its not listed as a scsi device in hardware manager as thats where most virtual devices are located and if it is there then you need to locate the program which is making the virtual drive.
(dosuser how old is your cd-rom drive as if its newr then around 1996 then the generic drivers should do however if its earlier then that you MAY have to look for 32bit cd rom drivers.) |

| Well it's definitely an SCSI device though I have no idea how to find what program is making it. |

| Don't use Alcohol 52% or 120%. Daemon Tools has been on my PC fo so long I have no idea why it would suddenly do this now. I don't use Nero, I use RecordNow. Don't have Easy CD creator. |
