Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall released for free

Post by emmzee »

Download it here:

http://www.elderscrolls.com/downloads/d ... _games.htm

The original Elder Scrolls game is also available.

DGF regulars will of course already know this, but just in case: You'll likely need DOSBox to run it.

One of the best ever.

.... and of course they can give it for free, anyone who is slightly interested in those Elder Scrolls games has it already.
Nevertheless a nice gesture.

Great, great news. This is one of the best RPGs of the 90s, period. I spent half a year playing it on and off, back in 2004.

downloaded again and played a little today.

It gave me chills as soon as the opening video started, and again when I arrived in Privateer's Hold... this game is simply amazing. I had forgotten just how impressive it was - it's 4 or 5 years ahead of it's time, at least.

I think that it's cool that Bethseda Softworks has released Elder Scrolls: Arena and Daggerfall for free download. Both of these games are great so is Morrowind and Oblivion.

Bethseda is one company who can give you good graphics and good gameplay in their games, most companies seem to focus on just the graphics.
