Sue, if you only have the shareware version of Wolf 3D you will most likely only have the first 10 levels, however if you have the full version you get all 6 games. Note: Spear Of Destiny isn't actually a game of Wolf 3D, it's more or less a fan demo game, based upon Wolf 3D.
I thought you might would like to know that. |

Not 100% correct what you say AdamN.
SoD was also developed by idSoftware and commercially released, not a fan made sequel.
Released as shareware and full game, same as W3D.
True is that SoD and W3D uses 'almost' the same game engine.
'Almost', because if you try it: SoD won't run on the original wolf3d.exe. |

| I always thought it was a fanbase game hence why it is not the sequel to Wolfenstein 3D. |

It is the sequel to W3D, they just gave it an other name.
Why? No idea. |

What kind of monitor you have?
Could you take a screenshot?
[Edit]
Coming to think about it ....
With that 'green blur' you don't mean the ivy that you have in the catacomb level? If yes, it's normal, they overdid it a bit ....
If you see something as this:
it's normal. |
