Testgame: DOOM2.
DOSBOX 0.72.
A working LAN network.
Be sure to set ipx=true in dosboxconfig and:
Server side (Screen 1)
ipxnet startserver
ipxnet status will give you the needed info to connect the client.
 
Client side
ipxnet connect <ip>
In my case the respons from screen 1, so:
ipxnet connect 127.0.0.1
 
Don't start the game but run setup and choose:
run network/modem/serial game
 
IPX-Compatible network
Configure at your wishes and select GO
Let the thing search for a connectable game and....
Rock'n'roll time !!
