Hi
Tried running Ultimate Soccer Manager 98 in dosbox (naturally thought I would need to), however, I get the error message of "This program cannot be run in DOS mode."

So I changed the compatibility of the .exe file to Win98 and tried running in in WinXP. Hurrah, the game loads...but, the screen is split (the screen is wrapped around and shifted off to the left). The game's menu buttons seem to be in their correct place though, by that I mean you could click where there's no button (because of the screen shift) but you'd activate the control. The game comes with a stat editor, when I load this, bizarrely the screen is displayed with no problems.

Anyone have any ideas what's wrong and how this can be fixed?

Thanks.

Try to modify to screen res 640x480 in the compability tab?
Tough not all modern monitors can work in that graphical modus.
Or lower your screen res of your desktop before running the game(rightclick on an empty spot).

Trial and error will be yours, it's even not said it will be able to work.....

In the worst case you will have to run it in VPC2007/W98.

[Edit]
On some forums (Vogons....) it's stated it will only work in XPsp1, not in XPsp2.
Sad
And no patches.
