Yeah, stupid American government so worried about our health that they make breweries pasteurize their beer. |
Actually, I think it's UN regulations - since local microbreweries here don't have to pasteurize unless they ship internationally. (I met a Scotsman who mentioned certain American beers taste a lot worse in Britain than here, for that reason) I think it has to do with long boat rides and so forth. And, of course, big, cheap companies like Miller and Budweiser pasteurize so their piss-water can stay on the shelves at Wal*Mart longer.. |

Yeah, the is a big problem for importing beer, but why the hell damage your brain with alcohol, when you can buy weed on the street for no problem and kill yourself with it,eh? |

I need at least a couple six-packs. I had a long ass weekend.
Essentially, I was up walking around in the cold in a wooded, hilly brush for almost a full 24 hours (probably 25-30 clicks total), slept 1.5 hours, and got up and walked another eight clicks.
I have a similarly brutal weekend in a couple weeks. Fuck. |

Ah the joy of the military life .....
*Thinks back .... winter maneuvres in W.Germany ..the Eifel.... mid seventies ... one long week..... freezing my balls off.....*
Now yeah, afterwards the beer in the mess was cheap as hell, 0.5 liters or full liters, and shnapps .... |
