Hey guys,

For a few years now I've been desperatly looking for a game I used to play around 1987 - 1989.
I'm pretty sure the name is "Sniper".

It's a monochrome game in which you are a simple ASCII smiley-character hovering through an endless maze of white lines on a black background. Somewhere in this maze there's a sort of nest that pours out these little 1-character creatures who try to kill you. You can shoot them but the goal is to shoot the centre of the nest.

It was a very simple, yet addictive game and I never found it again. Of course, "Sniper" is a difficult keyword to search on in game related topics, so I'm hoping maybe one of you knows about this little 1-file DOS game.

Thanks very much in advance!

I think it's SNIPES you're after.
It's not really monochrome, I think your monitor was.
It's from 1982, 1 file, approx 8 Kb.

If is, I can upload it somewhere.
[Edit]
If is, it's on http://www.dosgames.com/

Hopefully it's still as fun as you remembered, memories can be dubious.
Happy

I wish all the 'Find Old Games' questions we get were that easy to solve.
