Anyone (Wally?) who knows of a simple way to mount a hybrid (HFS and ISO-9660) CD-ROM on Mac OSX so the ISO-9660 part becomes visible to DOSBox?

From my on-line search, I have come up with 3 different ways, but I have no way of testing them:

  1. From a shell-prompt drutil status to obtain the device name of the DVD-drive (/dev/diskXsY), and then do a manual mount (as root?):

    # mkdir /tmp/my_old_cd
    # mount_iso9660 /dev/disk1s1 /tmp/my_old_cd
    # ls /tmp/my_old_cd

  2. Click the DVD-icon while holding down the Control-key, and then select the "Mount as ISO9660" option.

    Could it be that simple?

  3. Holding down the Command-Option-I key while inserting the CD again. And keep holding it down until the mounting process has completed.

WTF MiniMax?
Is this a test for Wally? To see if he can post a reasonable solution? Are you banned from Vogons? Are you ill? Hangover? Blackout?
Need a link to a Macnut forum?

Or is this aimed @me? Meant to tease me? An attempt to bully me?
Shame on you.

MACS ARE TeH EVIL. Failed Unix wannabee clones for brainless n00bs. Yuppy crap.
Once they were excellent, nowadays it's worthless hyped commercial crap.

I HATE YOU ALL. Angry

Ok ok ok, I gonna sober up, hey, it's saturday, don't expect intelligent replys a saturday afternoon regarding Macs from me.
But first I gonna have some more beers, then I gonna sober up.

On Vogons you can ask that, here I'm the mod MiniMax.

Here you're a member as all the others, so please don't do backseat moderating.
Stay in your role please.

OK?

So, now that this is sorted out, I gonna answer you as I usually do with such questions:
Why don't you ask this on a Mac forum?
Or on Vogons? There is a Dosbox/Mac section there, isn't it?
Happy

Maybe you'll get an answer there from Abyss......

I don't care you if are the last emperor of China dosraider. If you don't have any constructive comments, then stay the hell out of my thread.

I ask here, because I assumed there would be more people here that had experience with hybrid CD's. And I have asked on VOGONS.

I am the last emperor, didn't you know that fact?
And is this again one of your little games? A test to see what we know or don't know? So that you can make fun of those idiots on AW sites on Vogons, as you usually do?

One advise, Wally, don't answer his question, he's only out to make fools of us here.

You answer a demand for help with an AW game on Vogons as:
Fuck off, we don't do abandonware, there all idiots over there.
And then you lock the topic.

That's my answer to your demand:
Fuck off MiniMax, ask on a Mac forum.

And next thing I'll do is lock this.
Don't like it?
I don't care.

Next ones about the same will simply be trashed on sight.
Booooooooo I'm badmooded today.
