Post subject: dosbox help [Mac problems] |
|

| hey guys hopefully someone can help a newbie out, I think I was better at DOS when I was a kid. I am trying to install and run xcom1 using dosbox on a macbook with OSX. I think I might have to mount the CD-ROM drive but I dont know how to do it. I get as far as c:\xcom> as my directory but I dont know where to go from there. I know how to type in dir and find files, but installing and running the game I'm at a lose. Thanks for taking the time to look at this |

you'll have to type
mount /Volumes/cdname driveletter -t cdrom unless you make the CD-rom drive an alias. Thats another story
P.S you might be better off using a front end for the mac anyway

What about ISO mounting Wally?
Wouldn't he better off creating an ISO (or bin/cue) and mount that? |
