hi,
i'm really trying to find this old(not extremely old, the graphics were at about 1991-'95 level) wargame: you were in some middle eastern setting doing these minigames: driving a tank shooting at other tanks, trucks and choppers, defending a city( like tel aviv i think) from incoming rockets and shooting guys popping up at a building's windows(like in one of them old shooting gallerys). I've looked everywhere for this game. Maybe someone knows what it's called? thanks a lot..

common, somebody else must have played that game besides myself i think it also had a name with something like beirut(or some other middle eastern name) but i'm not sure.if you know it plz help me out

I think you're looking for a mod of Duke3D, or similar.
Can't remember the name, it's a freeware game.
I thought you were an US or NATO soldier.
Whatever, can't remember the name, was pretty crap anyway.

it wasn't a duke nukem mod, it wasn't a FPS and it was older than duke. in the shooting part, you couldn't move, you just had some crosshairs and there were some guys popping up at windows which you were supposed to cap. in other levels you were either driving a tank( in 2D) shooting at choppers, or the other way around and there was another level in which you were bombing or protecting a city. thanks anyway

nope, not operation wolf, though that shooting perspective was very similar, except that usually the guys would pop up from a multi level building

Nope, the only thing I can think of is OpThunderbolt, but that' won't be it.

Are you sure it's a PC game? Sounds more as a early shmup or rail shooter console game.

That's not it either.. I've looked all over the place for it..whatever it was it's probably gone for good thanks a lot though
