Yeah so how would you play Zed on windows XP... Zed or Z is a game from bitmap bros

yeah i do have the original cd i copied it but do I need a program to run it... i tried virtual pc windows thing but too complicated argh just wanna play the damn game

okay anyway i tried dosbox and i have no idea how to run Z.

Z is located here

F:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\flashget dl\Zed\Z

and dosbox is located here

F:\Program Files\DosBox


F:\ is my main drive while E:\ is my cd drive

Create a F:\games
run dosbox and input:
mount c f:\games
mount d e:\ -t cdrom
d:
install

Dosbox doesn't work with c:\program files, or you should mount c:\program files\ as C:
That's NOT indicated.

If you want to use your C create a C:\games\ and mount that as C in dosbox.
READ THE STICKIES.

Or did you meant dosbox 0.72 itself? The program?
Simply copy the whole dosbox folder to c:\program files\
And create a shortcut on your desktop.
Or ..... install dosbox 0.72 again, in progfiles, won't hurt, really not, and so you will have the appropiate shortcuts and start menu items.
