I finally saw King Arthur.
It wasn't bad.
Though slightly confusing, because I'm not entirely knowledgeable about the Arthur stories.
But it was good.
Also, Larry, a lot of movies based off games turn out pretty good. Give 'em a chance |

You mean the one from 2004 with Clive Owen? Still must see that one, I wonder what they made of it this time, the last one I saw with Sean Connery and Richard Gere was totally ridicule.
And to think he probably even never existed, or was at most a small rapin'barbarian leader. |

Dossy: Aw, come 'on. I love to believe in the idea of a noble King Arthur.
The movie was decent. A little bit lame, though. I mean, it didn't get great reviews.
I liked the idea behind Merlin's people... however I hated the way they turned out.
Larry: I'm the wrong person to ask as I'm not the biggest gamer nor do I watch a whole lot of movies.
I quite enjoyed Lara Croft. Sure, it wasn't an oscar type movie... but that's the way the games are.... so I thought it was ridiculous in a good way.
And I really liked Silent Hill. Though I've never played the game, so I don't know how well it followed the game's plot.
Off hand, that's all I can remember that I've seen.
I honestly do NOT watch a lot of movies. I'd say name 10 movies you've seen, and I can be pretty sure I've only seen... maybe 3. |

Now, if you like such stories, Check-Mate, you should give
The Warlord Chronicles by Bernard Cornwell a go. That's if you like to read a good book, of course.
I've really enjoyed those 3 books about what Arthur could have been had he really existed. A bit a raw writing style, but those must have been pretty raw times after all. |

If my son wants me to babysit his daughter again a friday evening he'd better get some DVDs that are worth watching.
Or he should buy a -(P3)- desktop so that I can play an Unreal COOP session. His laptop keyboard isn't suited for gaming.
Man o manometer, those things sux for gaming. |
