Hi everyone,

looking for a game I used to play at primary school about 15 years ago.
Don't know what it was called. You sailed a ship to different locations buying and selling goods for profit. While sailing, you can be attacked by pirates and chose to either fight or flee. You can also purchase upgrades to cannons, cargo hold, etc.

Was very basic game but addictive...

Dosraider

That is a very similar game. However the game I am thinking of is very basic. two color, minimum animation. Made much earlier than the game you suggested.

Thanks for the link though, I may have to look for a copy of that game.

PiratesII is a remake of Pirates!gold, maybe, but it doesn't really fit the description, as you are a pirate in that game.

But it reminded me of this one:
Pirates of the Barbary Coast, two color and basic animation. Seems somehow to fit better the description, as you ain't a pirate and can trade.

The two games I am trying to find are Spelunx® and the Caves of Mr. Seudo®, and this game (which title I can not remember) in which you must traverse this massive castle, but to open any doors you had to solve a math problem. Any ideas where to download these fine games?

Well, dunno about that other game, but it seems that the only way to get Spelunx and the Caves of Mr. Seudo is to contact Cyan and beg for a re-release!

Sorry!

No, this game was first person and used puesdo-3D environments (as far as I remember).

I think the closest thing to the game i'm looking for is the game 1869, did they have a game similar to 1869 for mac around the same time?
