The Simpsons is one of my favorite TV shows, though I don't generally keep up with TV all that much. In fact, I mainly just watch anime and cartoons like The Simpsons, Family Guy, ect. :/

Haven't you seen the episode that explains that the Simpsons' stupidity is only found on the Y chromosome?

And, TSM, The Simpsons beats Family Guy any day of the week. Family Guy was good the first three seasons, but the hiatus killed it. American Dad! is actually the Seth McFarlane show to watch now, because it actually gets funnier as time goes on.

Sorry, though I disagree. I think Family Guy is funnier than The Simpsons, though more particularly the newer episodes. However, any episode of The Simpsons before the few latest seasons win. Something happened within the last few years of The Simpsons that caused it to be a little less humorous, in my opinion. Though yeah, I definitely agree with American Dad becoming better as time goes on.

Then again, they're all good shows.

I think the crayon may have interferred with the simpsons gene. He was smart when the crayon was taken out.

Yeah, I'm with hyde`, The Simpsons is just getting dull these days, not particularly looking forward to the movie.

Family Guy did get a little annoying there with the jokes between Stewie & Brian and Stewie would just go on for 5 minutes, but they seem to have realised that sucked ballsack now.

Though all in all, I think we can all agree, Futurama season five is going to kick so much ass it'll be beyond funny and of course there's meant to be a couple of movies with it as well.

I think that The Simpson's lost it's appeal (atleast to me) when it stopped being a highly witty satire. When it used references to the higher arts and literature it was much more amusing. They've replace intelligence and sardonic humour with smutt.

Family Guy...I'm not a fan of. Not really sure why. Maybe because, again, there is a high amount of humour derived from smutt...

The new simpsons episode yesterday was not very good. How come you don't see many first season episodes on anymore. The first season of the simpsons was my favourite.
