Haha. Yeah, true. But not GRUESOME. And not sporadic and uncontrollable. I didn't die accidentally or fail to run away from a big scary man with a gun before he blew my brains out with BLOOD!! Amazed

I distinctly remember being afraid to play Commander Keen when I was younger, because I was afraid I'd ACTUALLY die if I died in the game. Like... I'd always hit escape and exit right before I knew I was going to, and start all over again.

...

Shut up.

Get Firefox 2, it has a built-in spell checker.

But speaking of death... man, when I used to play Sierra [Online] games, I used to save once(or even twice) every screen! Laughing

Twocker, Ghouls, and Ghosts? That would be 3 games?

Thwocker is an atari 2600 game. I have the manual and everything for thwocker. I have a purchased copy of the game. I have ghouls and ghosts on my genesis and the only other games i have for it are street fighters 2 turbo and street fighters 2 championship.

I don't go through a game the first time with the use of cheats or anything like that the first on time the vast majority of games, however, do afterward to unlock some of the cool things the games have to offer. IE: having the player do things you wouldn't be able to do without those cheats. I'm guilty of using walkthroughs and FAQs when I'm really stuck, though I try to avoid even that. -_-;

Yeah so this is starting to drag on a little now, the point was kinda lost awhile ago. If you want to discuss the pros and cons of using cheats do a little search, we had a thread on that not so long ago, remember it’s not a necro-post if you add something relevant, such as a well constructed point of view.
