ehm
1) WoW needs, what? 32 MBs of video, 256 RAM(but, trust me, it works on 192) and 800 MHz(but, again, trust me, it works on 500)
2) You can't buy the 14 days trial version, sigh, you can buy the game, and then create an account, which requires a credit card(even if you will only play those 2 short-lived weeks) since those 14 days are actually a bonus to your prepaid credit!
3)You can always return the game to the seller! so no harm done, you'll get your money back! |

You live in a twisted country V.
That or Romania is twisted and everywhere else is straight, since I know for a fact that you can return WoW in 5 days of your purchase. |

| I think they do sell a WoW CD for like $1.99 that has the 14-day trial on it. I'm pretty sure I've seen these at Best Buy and stuff. If so, abyss is only out a few bucks. |

I don't have 512 mb ram. I have less than a nvidea geforce 2. With an outdated video card and 256 mb ram i don't meet the requirements for a lot of games. I was going to buy railroad but it required 512 mb ram and a newer video card.
My video card is for early windows and late dos games that will not run on other xp's or dosbox . My video card is vesa compliant.
You can run win 3.1x with dosbox but you cannot play every last dos or windows game on dosbox.
My computers early windows support is very good. my computers dos support is good. I can play dosgames that won't run on other xp's.
For some dosgames to run without dosbox i need to use the tp patch though. |

I do believe in Canada you cannot get a refund on an opened computer game (or for that matter, other stuff under copyright law like music CDs).
Rationale being that people would constantly buy a game, burn it on a CD, then bring back the original copy for a refund. Think how many games/music/movies you could get for free if you could get a refund on the originals. Far more than BitTorrent could ever give you.
Music example: Buy a $20 music CD, rip it to MP3s, get your $20 back, buy another music CD, rip that to MP3s, get your $20 back, and so on.
In essence, it would be a pirate's dream come true if there were refunds on opened software/music. |

ebgames have a 7 day guarentee that if you dont like the game you can return it so long as it is in brand new condition. |

| Brand new condition == unopened. Trust me, I've bought software from EB Games several times recently. |

| nono, i meant they have to be like not scratched or any visible dirt/dust on them... they offer 100% money back if you decide you plain and simply don't like the game within the first 7 days. |

Less than a NVidIa GForce 2, that would be a ..... GForce 1 ? S3Virge?
Whatever, it's not bad for your videocard, no, why should it?
It is even an ideal vidcard , for a P2/400 running W98 or such.
A P3 however deserves better. And would really benefit a newer (G2 or so) videocard. Certainly if you want to run XP on it. The latest drivers for such cards ( lesser than G2) are only slighted adapted , just enough to run on XP, so you loose regarding speed, compability, stability and quality.
Of course, if you are happy with it...... nevermind what we are saying.

| It pays to actually check the requirements before you buy anything. |

Even then, try to make sure you're significantly above it if you can. Sometimes software companies try to keep the requirements low to get the maximum customer potential (i.e.: just barely enough).
Example:
Windows 2000's official minimum requirements are a Pentium 133 and 64 MB of RAM.
What you really need is at least a Pentium II and 128 MB RAM to use it good. Even then it's a little bit slow. |
