Meh, we can use proper grammar and language skills when we have to. We only talk like that when we're with our friends and other informal settings.

If we're on a podium giving a speech or some other formal environment, we're no different than the rest of Canada/USA.

But it is sad, we are slowly losing our cultural dialect, known as Newfinese, and I'd expect in about 10 or 20 years, the majority of Newfoundlanders will talk like normal Canadians and Americans.
