Post subject: 16 GBs on an 8.7 GBs HDD??? |

I recently downgraded my PC(Blasted... I don't know what but I just found my HDDs fried)
I replaced my HDDs(2 X 10.2 GBs) with spares I had (1 X 8.7 + 1 X 10.2) but the funny thing was that when I installed Win XP on the small HDD I looked at the current partitions

* d: 8.2 GBs 30% free
* e: 8 MBs 0% free

Talk about malfunctioning HDDs  |

I honestly didn't understand anything from that math you did over there...
But I think I know the reason: The small one had an NTFS format, and I have the feeling that before I got it, it was formated with FDISK.exe(check a win98 startup disk) with primary DOS partition....
It's still odd, considering the free space amounts.
Anyways, after I deleted both the 8.2 partitions, it showed up straight as only one 8.2 NTFT partition |

Looks like Windows was seeing the same partition twice. Never herd of something like that, though.
Ciudată fază, Larry. |

Very Off-Topic
That's right, I am your countryman, Larry.
Should have put in "Europe by the Dāmboviţa", but who the hell heard of that puny river? Danube is more popular.
