i have couple suggestions to the webmaster(s)
1 you should add "Quick reply" hack to your forum, it really saves time
2 why not upgrade to phpBB 2.03?
3 template which will blend into dosgames.com colors |

1)What exactly does the quick reply hack do?
2)I guess he could do that when he upgrades to the new server, maybe.
3)I agree wholeheartedly. However, I'm sure emmzee doesn't have time to code it, and I'm not sure Dogbreath knows how. So, if he doesn't, somebody needs to know how and have time to do it. If you know how to do it, I think it would be alright if you made it (I can't say completely since I'm not DB/emmzee).............but, I do know that Game Hippo has their own template (as well as subsilver [the current one] and Digital Twilight [this one is awesome!]). |

quick reply? heh... thats one of the most useful thing ever!
its the same as reply but it appears at the bottom of the topic... so you dont have to click on the post reply button. just see www.phpBBhacks.com for example
about the template... he doesnt have to change the whole template... he can change colors |

| It's already in place, sort of. Just click the "Quote" button at the top of any post and it'll jump you right to reply. |

| I don't think that's what he's talking about......I think there would be a thing on the bottom of an individual post so that you can just type your reply there and not have to wait for the page to load....I'm not sure though, could you be more specific, Kenny? |

1- Sorry to say, but I dont think that da_goat is excused from the double post rule!
2- Only the person with access to the .php files can put in hacks. Therefore, only emmzee could put in the hacks.
3- Why? Are you hiding somthing in ur PM box? |

I'm not trying to advertise this site, but forums.beyondunreal.com has what you are talking about on their forums. Just type what you want in the box and press reply.(you would have to register to see the box i think, but go to some thread and there is a reply box at the bottom of the thread.)
That would be very helpful for us 56k users. I wish more PHPBB and other sites that use a similar code would have this option. |

I was thinking that since i just registered, that I was automatically logged in. Stupid me. But that was my post.
But i think that all forums need that quick reply box if it is possible. |

Old Thread
If you look at Kenny's Forum. There are "Quick replays" at the bottom of the pages. |
