I just found out about this site today. This is a grass roots effort by the ESA & video game companies/video game players to stop the laws which are trying to ban video games.

This site also allows you to send letters to your representives. I just used the site about several minutes ago to submit the letter to:

The Honorable Rick Santorum
U.S. Senator, PA, Republican Party

The Honorable Arlen Specter
U.S. Senator, PA, Republican Party

Will Wright is one of the game developers who supports this site. As gamers, we need to stand up & protect video games which are protected under freedom of speech. Let's not let the gov't dictate what games were are allowed to play.

The site is at http://www.videogamevoters.org . Go to it & be heard.

We all need to stand up & fight back against the gov't. If they are able to make laws banning games, they could ban DOS games such as Wolf 3D, Doom, Quake, Heretic, Hexen, Duke 3D, et al. Basically put, the gov't wants to make a law which lets the gov't regulate games which means that if they don't like a certain game, they will ban it.

They CANT ban video games..

There has been a large base of researchers who says VGS are very good for some of your senses.

This includes violent and games involving sexual nature.

I still dont see why violence and sexual nature matters. Better to learn young than never.

Wally*Won_Kenobie,

I found out about the above site yesterday. I found it in a video game magazine. These senators claim that their sold-called game laws are being made to stop minors from buying games but unfortuntely, they (the US gov't) wants to control the video game industry.
