Cats rule. I mean dogs are cool (I own a pure bred Australian Blue Cattle Dog) but no offence they're kinda dumb, cats are generally smarter.

i don't like them, ya can't play frisbie or take them for walks, or bathe them... all they do is sit around and lick themselves... sounds like a good life to me.. i love kittens, but hate cats... I have a dog

what can cats do that dogs can't? oh yea, get stuck in trees.. my dog killed my last cat, it used it for a chew toy and broke its neck.. I actually liked that cat

Ok Julie here’s an example for you. You hit a dog, it no longer likes you it may even growl at you if you try to pat it/go near it. Come dinner time it’s your best friend again, it’s like the whole thing never happened. Where as hit cat, try and go near it, it will hiss at you, try ant pat it you will probably be scratched. Come dinner time the cat doesn’t give a shit it hates you now remember. Cats hold grudges, I say this makes them more intelligent as if you’ve hurt an animal once, you’re more likely to do it again. So where with a dog, it just keeps coming back for more and doesn’t learn. A cat doesn’t forgive and forget.

There have also been studies done on cats where they would have someone sit in a room and then a cat would be put in the room. 2 types of people were used. People who liked cats and those that didn’t, the people just had to sit there and try not to move or make any sound or whatever. All the people that liked cats soon had a cat rubbing up against their leg or on their lap. All those people that didn’t like cats found themselves sitting at the opposite end of the room to the cat. Demon-straighting that cats even by the subtle hints given off by the people not trying to give off any, the cats were able to tell if they were welcome or not. Most people have trouble working out weather or not those around them like them or not, so in that regard cats are doing pretty well wouldn’t you say?

meh I dont care how smart a cat is... I just perfer dogs, their more fun to play with, I would like to see someone play catch with a cat:P
