How about the main character from 'wereldspel' (worldplay?), written by some Polish guy. It's about a kid that gets stuck in a computer game, or more a virtual thingamabob. Games!

Well thanks to my funky hair do, my mate dods used to call me Frodo so I guess since I’ve got the hair that might not be such a bad idea. Other then that maybe the main character out of Red City. Can’t remember his name though.
