Ragnarok online: help, hints and more!

Hey folks! I haven't seen any posts about Ragnarok lately (...at all) Im sure that there are people out there that are in dire need of a leg up, in many areas of life, and while I am completely and totally incapable of helping you with that I CAN attempt to fill that big, black void in your heart that results from A)not playing, or B)not winning Ragnarok. Come one come all and exchange advice.

NEWBIES READ THIS:
Ragnarok is NOT a open ended rpg. in any way, shape or form. and not only is it not open ended, it has a TIME LIMIT. it is a long one, granted, but it is there and it SUCKS to lose a level 60 character because you hung around in heimdall to long.
when you get the message about the end times, at that point you should rabidly attack quests and finish them. and if you dont get to asyr quick enouph, youll find asyr PACKED (as in FULL, EVERY SPACE) with baddies. and YOU will get a headache after being mindblasted 30 YES 30 times every tick.

I was searching in the web to see if I coul find someone who could tell me how to make my own server of ragnarok or do something to pley it online.

I play ragnarok online and rather play online as you are interacting with other people..
Playing offline sounds good but really its an online RPG and it should stay that way.
If anyone wishes to play the offline version.
You should try googling this as we wont help you with it (This topic has nothing to do with Dosgames but is a windows game.

I would close this topic but instead of doing that will remove anything to do with Ragnarok Offline and replace with Online stuff, im sure all of you would agree that this is the proper way to handle this without facing any lawsuits.

Wow, this a generally pointless thread. But I think that I happen to know the answer to your question, so ...

I'm assuming you're trying to become a Rogue. Here's a "Rogue quest" guide:

You can warp to the map with Pathos Lighthouse from the Kafra in Comodo. (You can get to Comodo thru the Kafra in Morroc.) Note that (again, assuming you're going to the Rogue's guild to become a rogue) you don't go into the lighthouse. Kinda south of the Kafra on the map you warp to, there's a little door/underground thing you go into, thats where the rogue guild is.

If you want the old DOS game "Ragnarok" (which you play offline and has nothing to do with "Ragnarok Online") you can get it here:

If you are looking for some way to play <a href="http://iro.ragnarokonline.com">Ragnarok Online</a>, but offline, on your own computer, sorry you can't do it. Well, maybe you can. There is free software out there that people have written to host their own servers. I really don't know anything about that ... it'd probably be more trouble than its worth.

If you just wanna play RO for free (online) you can try one of the free servers:

All you need is the vidar server software and you need time and patience.. My bro did it
